UPGRADING NaSPUoN FOR
0G PEACE MISSION 2030
A Space Trust initiative, the name of the mission is 0G Peace Mission 2030 [0G2030] in support of the work of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs [UNOOSA], toward Space2030 and the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Agenda.
0G2030 will be carried aboard a student built 3U CubeSat.
The 3U CubeSat is the first earth orbiting satellite to be developed as a Space Trust Initiative, which is a bipartide collaboration between the University of Nairobi [UNairobi] and Space Trust [ST].
Development of the 3U CubeSat will enable space generation leaders from a developed country and developing country [Kenya] to benefit globally from a STEM based capacity building educational programme.
The 3U CubeSat will adopt the NaSPUoN platform from UNairobi, which will be upgraded for the 0G2030 from a 1U bench model to a 3U space grade flight model.
0G2030 goals and achievements will be disseminated via seminars and workshops globally, particularly, in developing countries.
